Texas Hold'em, Offline by Design

Texas Hold'em is the world's most celebrated poker variant, and at Ash & Equity it is played exactly as it should be: face-to-face, around real poker tables, with the focus and ritual of a dedicated Card Room.

The game is physical, social, and strategic, rewarding patience and observation. Ash & Equity provides a refined environment that elevates the classic game. No screens, no distractions—just the felt, the cards, and the players.

The Game

How Texas Hold'em Is Played

The Flow of the Game

Each hand begins with two private cards dealt to every player, followed by a round of betting. Five community cards are then revealed in stages—the flop, the turn, and the river—with betting after each stage. The best five-card hand wins.

The game rewards strategic thinking and reading opponents. Betting rounds create tension and opportunity, while the community cards are shared by all players. Texas Hold'em uses a standard 52-card deck, and players combine their hole cards with the community cards to build the strongest hand.

Hand Rankings

From high card to royal flush, understanding hand rankings is essential. At Ash & Equity, dealers are on hand to guide newcomers, ensuring everyone can enjoy the game with confidence.

  • Royal Flush
  • Straight Flush
  • Four of a Kind
  • Full House
  • Flush
  • Straight
  • Three of a Kind
  • Two Pair
  • One Pair
  • High Card

Rankings are standard across all poker variants. Dealers provide discreet assistance, and the venue welcomes players of all levels.

The Card Room

A Room Built for Focus

The Card Room at Ash & Equity is designed for serious play: multiple physical poker tables, dedicated table lighting, and a layout that minimises distraction. The atmosphere is quiet intensity, with the soft rustle of cards and the clink of chips.

Multiple tables accommodate different game sizes. Lighting is focused on the felt, not the room, and acoustic treatment ensures clear communication. The Card Room is a dedicated space within the venue, featuring physical poker tables.

The Poker Lounge

A Relaxed Setting

Adjacent to the Card Room, the Poker Lounge offers a more relaxed setting for casual games and conversation. Here, players can unwind between hands with a cocktail or a bite, still surrounded by the venue's industrial elegance.

Lounge seating encourages socialising, bar service is available nearby, and the lounge maintains the dark, refined aesthetic. The Poker Lounge is part of the venue and offers a relaxed atmosphere.
